Geoffrey "Geoff" J. Block is a former Wall Street executive who has served as manager of the holding company RLB Squared, LLC, since 2013. Although he resides in South Carolina, Geoff Block is still a fan of New York professional sports teams, including the New York Giants of the National Football League (NFL).

It has been a difficult season in 2019 for the Giants as the team had a win-loss record of 2-11 through 12 games. However, one player who has performed well is punter Riley Dixon, and on December 8 he was rewarded with a three-year, $8.7 million contract extension. Selected by the Denver Broncos in the seventh round of the 2016 NFL Draft, Dixon was acquired by the Giants in April 2018 in exchange for a conditional seventh-round pick in the 2019 NFL Draft.

In his second full season with the Giants, Dixon averaged a career-best 47 yards per punt, which was sixth among all punters in the NFL. He had punted 55 times through 13 games for a total of 2,577 yards, while his longest punt of 62 yards. The Syracuse University alumnus is particularly adept at directional punting and has often helped the Giants' defense by preventing touchbacks.

Geoffrey J. "Geoff" Block is an experienced investment professional who manages a portfolio of real estate and hedge funds through RLB Squared, LLC, which is headquartered in Bluffton, South Carolina. Outside of his professional pursuits, Geoff Block enjoys following the New York Giants of the National Football League (NFL).

With starting running back Saquon Barkley sidelined as a result of an ankle injury and Wayne Gallman in concussion protocol, the Giants signed free agent Buck Allen on October 11. Allen was signed by the New Orleans Saints this past May, but was cut by the team on August 9, prior to the start of the season. He last played in the NFL with the Baltimore Ravens.

An alumnus of the University of Southern California, Allen was selected by the Ravens in the fourth round of the 2015 NFL Draft. He played 54 games through four seasons with the team, scoring 14 touchdowns. He also registered 1,249 rushing yards and 814 receiving yards. The 28-year-old is expected to start in place of Barkley, but could even play a crucial role once Barkley returns given his ability to catch the ball out of the backfield. Running back Jon Hilliman was cut in a corresponding move.

Basic Guide to St. Bart’s Beaches

Since 2013, Geoffrey J. Block has served as manager of RLB Squared, a real estate investment firm that oversees a portfolio of properties including residential buildings, RV parks, malls, shopping centers, and assisted living facilities. Outside of his professional pursuits, Geoff Block enjoys traveling. He counts St. Bart’s in the Caribbean as his favorite vacation spot.

St. Bart’s is an island famous for its white-sand beaches, high-end restaurants, designer shops, and historical attractions. It is also a popular destination for celebrities, models, and anyone who yearns for exclusivity in a laid back environment.

St. Bart’s has 16 beaches, each different and unique. One of the beaches, Saline Beach, is popular for those who enjoy the translucent blue water and long stretches of sand without the distractions of shops, bars, or restaurants. Colombier is another isolated place suitable for adventure-seeking tourists, as the beach is accessible only through a 30-minute hike or boat. For beginner surfers, Saint-Jean and Lorient are popular choices. On the other hand, experienced surfers can catch more challenging waves at Point Milou, Petit Anse, and Anse Toiny. To experience a more vibrant atmosphere, Eden Rock and Nikki Beach are the places to explore, with plenty of beach clubs hosting day parties. To watch the sunset, Shell Beach offers the best view.

Geoffrey “Geoff” J. Block owns and manages RLB Squared, LLC, a holding company headquartered in Bluffton, South Carolina. A graduate of Tulane University, Geoff Block gives back to his alma mater by supporting the A. B. Freeman School of Business and the university’s athletic programs.

In June of 2019, the business school and athletic programs at Tulane issued dual press releases announcing that student-athlete Kody Hoese has been selected in the 2019 Major League Baseball First-Year Player Draft. Hoese, a junior majoring in finance, was taken with the 25th overall pick by the Los Angeles Dodgers.

Hoese’s selection came after the Green Wave athlete enjoyed a 2019 season that saw him record a team-best .391 batting average. He also finished with 92 hits, 61 RBIs, and 72 runs scored, all of which contributed to him winning the American Athletic Conference Player of the Year and securing a place on the All-American Athletic Conference first team.

Hoese has built a significant athletic legacy over his time at Tulane, where he ranks in the top 5 all-time players in both the single-season home runs and total bases. A native of Griffith, Indiana, he is the first Green Wave player since 2008 to be chosen in the MLB Draft’s first round and the 10th player overall in program history.
